Two Photographs supplied by Roger Haigh - Jones

The first is an aerial view of Caernarfon Grammar taken sometime between 1958 and 63.

The next is of Caernarfon's 1310 Air Training Corps Sqn on a visit to RAF Aldergrove, Northern Ireland around 1961. Dead centre (rear) is me with David Smith on my left and Michael Henthorne on my right. Fourth from the left (front row) is Mr Pugh , a lovely man who , in his normal duties, was a bus driver for Crosville. Second from the right (front row) is Will Roberts who , I know, is still living in Caernarfon. Can't remember the names of the others, sadly. The Corporal in front of David Smith might be Charles?? The aircraft was a Hastings of 202 Meteorological Squadron called "Bismuth Charlie" . In those days, the ATC Sqn was run by Flt Lt Ron Kirk.
